Is your child ready for piano lessons?

Here are a few considerations:

·       Is your child excited about the piano?  Do they like the way it sounds and feels?

·       Have they started to read at a basic level and are they comfortable with the alphabet and counting?

·       Can your child sit still and focus for 15 to 30 minutes?

·       Do you have the time in your schedule to practice and attend regular lessons?

·       As a parent, do you like the sound of piano enough to have it played daily at home?

Pianos and Keyboards:

Every student must have a piano or a keyboard when they sign up for lessons, but I have a couple of loaners that bridge the gap. There are options to obtain an instrument for a minimal cost. Keyboards are best if they are 88 keys and weighted. And no toys please 😊

COSTS

We can chat about the price in person.  I do pay-by-the lesson, so there are no monthly or semester contracts. Payments can either be made in advance, weekly or at the end of the month, whatever your preference. I take Venmo, PayPal, check or old-fashioned cash. I will consider adding another form of electronic payment if that means a lot to you. 😊

Recitals/"Piano parties"

I believe it is important to provide opportunities to perform and showcase what students have accomplished. I typically do one in - person and one virtual recital a year, but that’s subject to change.
